How to handle stress?

Are YOU stressed because of your job?

Stress is quite common nowadays. Every job has become demanding and there is always pressure to perform and achieve targets. High pressure jobs like #banking_jobs, #telecom, #IT and #Sales make you feel drained. Each day is hectic and the schedule is busy. Marinating #work_life balance is very difficult. Here we are sharing five ways to handle stress-

Five Ways to Reduce Work-Related Stress

Before you let your stress burn you out, here are some things to help you get a handle.
Stress can often lead to burnout. Here are some tips on what people can do inside and outside the office to prevent and combat stress.

1. Take a walk.
“Take time out of your day to break your habits. Stress is a habitual response to things that are externally happening around us. It is our immediate reaction to things that are triggers or difficult or hard for us. Therefore, you have to break certain habits and a good way that I recommend is getting out of your work environment and taking a 20 to 30 minute walk a day if you can. Give yourself time to decompress during the workday so you’re not letting things build up all day long.”

2. Start your day with mindfulness.
“Start your day with intention. Take time by yourself, for yourself, to think about what you want. A lot of research shows that taking 15 to 20 minutes each morning and starting your day with meditation before you have breakfast, before you go on the computer, before you go into all the details of your day, makes a huge difference.”

3. Disconnect.
“Give yourself some period to just not think about work at all or worry about anything that’s going on. In addition, a big part of that is being off a device. A huge part of what makes us stress and less productive is being so tethered to our devices all the time. I think putting the phone away, putting screens away and just being in the present physical world can really decrease stress.”

4. Improve relationships.
“We have another study that shows one in three people work with somebody that makes them want to quit. Therefore, very often the largest source of stress in your day-to-day work life is a co-worker or manager. Constructive, proactive conversations with those people could be a huge source of stress relief. If we can be proactive in approaching and interacting with that person about how things could get better, it becomes a dramatically important way to relieve stress.”

5. Create work friendships.
“Inside the workplace, one of the most important things is having a close relationship at work. If you have a best friend at work, when either times are tough or when times are good, you can have somebody there to go through that experience.”

Are you looking for Best English Speaking Classes in Ahmadabad?

Looking for Best classes where YOU can learn English?
Then YOU should read this-
Learning English to make it as a language of communication and conversation requires few things-
1. Knowledge of basic rules of grammar
2. Good vocabulary (knowledge of words)
3. knowing how to think in English
4. knowing ways of sentence making
5. practice of sentence making on regular basis
6. Getting your errors corrected by someone (means individual attention)
7. Opportunities to speak in front of large audience (exposure to group discussions)
8. Practical test of having confidence and courage to speak in front of others
Now, YOU need to understand how to choose the right place for learning English, just visit the places and try to understand which is providing learning covering the given concerns-
1. If any centre has the same pattern of helping their learners on the above mentioned 8 concerns, it is the right place for YOU to learn English.
Apart from that, just get the answers of these questions-
2. Are they bothered about your current level of knowledge or they are just going to teach you something without even knowing what YOU already know?
3. What is the group strength? If YOU are a beginner, than the group size should be (5–10 participants) in a batch/ Intermediate (7–15 participants) and advance maximum 20. If a particular batch has more than this or less than this YOU will actually not be learning much in absence of enough chances to speak.
4. What is the major component of training YOU are going to get? If they say GRAMMAR, than their focus is only theoretical knowledge and if their focus is TRANSLATION, then YOU might end up being confused.
5. Giving time flexibility of coming for the class apparently sound attractive but actually it is damaging as YOU might not be learning anything in continuity and all the effort might be a complete wastage. So, stick to a place which knows the importance of regularity.
6. If they have common batches for everyone, it could be a trap for YOU. Most of the providers make large groups or groups without any specific need for more and more income generation without putting much effort. Practically speaking learning level of a college student and a working professional can’t be same! So, either of them would be losing the inputs which is required for his specific needs as in order to match both usually service provider give general training and aren’t able to deliver what they promise.
7. Do they asses YOU before and after joining the class? If not then how would they ensure the results?
8. In order to learn something, two things are very important. One, who is teaching/training and what is being taught? The course is equally and sometimes even more important than the teacher. Just check if they have self designed systematic curriculum to follow or they are just covering grammar topics through any book. Books no matter how good they are, fail to give practical exposure.
9. Check the methods used for teaching , as importance of Audio visual tools and training techniques can’t be ignored.
So, if YOU find all these qualities in an “English Communication training/classes provider YOU should join them!
We hope this answer was helpful to YOU. Yes, YOU Can learn if YOU join the right place! And, yes, YOU Can Change your life after learning English.
